A Chaotic Introduction
Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well. For this post, I'll step out of the alter-ego/character voice I usually use on this site and give you a bit of background about myself. We'll also dive into the purpose and future of this site.
Introduction
My name is Nabeel. I'm a college student who loves music and creating things. I made this site as a passion project inspired by Ken Carson's upcoming album: "A Great Chaos." Although this is a small side-project, I hope to turn this hobby into a full-time endeavor some day, allowing me to dedicate more time to even better them.
Purpose
Aside from being an aesthetic concept, this website is a platform for fellow creatives to discover inspiration, share work, and for enthusiasts to stay updated on the latest news. I believe fan-made content is important because it offers fresh perspectives and interpretations that can breathe new life into existing works of art—music; in this case. This not only enhances the experience but also encourages innovation in the creative realm. Fundamentally, it helps build a tight-knit community, where people can grow together; bettering themselves and those around them.
I'm always paying close attention to the art within this creative space; constantly looking for hidden gems. I see this website as an opportunity to showcase the incredible talent that often goes unnoticed. I want to shine a spotlight on these artists, share their work with a broader audience, and ensure they receive the recognition they deserve.
Future
I'll try my best to keep the site updated regularly, but I can't make any promises as I often find myself juggling between various projects and life. Nonetheless, I'm committed to providing a platform for fellow creatives to discover inspiration, share their work, and stay updated on the latest news.
As much as I would love to keep this website going forever, I know that at some point it will come to an end. It's the natural way of art and life. I will likely archive the website at some point. This will likely happen a few weeks after the album releases, though the exact timing is yet to be determined. I'll try my best to keep you all updated on any changes and developments during this process. So, don't be disappointed if the site eventually becomes inactive, as I'm sure I'll already have started something new for you all by then.
Thank you,
Nabeel Ahmed @ Pillarland
